Okay, posts like these pisses me off. And yes, maybe I’m just saying that because I really like Chris Brown… But still.
Whoever posted this has no idea what they were saying. They do not have their facts straight.
First off, on Chris Brown’s twitter it did not say those words. The night he won his DESERVED Grammy, he tweeted,
TeamBreezy, the Grammy I received was for those of you who supported my music and the hard work and growth in my life. I thank you! Love u!
Don’t believe me? Here:
As you can see, it does not contain ANY of those words that Chris Brown supposedly said.
Second of all, I understand what Chris Brown did was a horrible and tragic thing but you have to understand people make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. He realized his mistake and is not changing for the better. He served his time, he went to anger management classes, he changed himself. He got the karma from it! I mean come on, he started off as a young and talented R&B singer and that happened, and so many fans and people disrespect him because of it..but look at him now! He is back at being the top of his business—as a legendary r&B artist. He regretted what he did. People adore and admire Eminem, Mel Gibson, and Charlie Sheen but they talk shit and can’t get over Chris Brown? Those people are all men who beat up their wives but don’t get a lot of shit about it. Brown was only 19 when he did it, compared to the previously mentioned grown men. I know it’s not a good excuse to say that he was young and didn’t know better. But he was! He was still a teenager to some people. And as far as anyone knows, teenagers make the biggest mistakes.
Thirdly, why do people look past the fact that Rihanna admitted to provoking him? She admitted to everyone that she had provoked Chris Brown. And look, it is obvious that she is still in love with him. I mean, Rihanna forgave him, so shouldn’t people get past it? It happened four years ago. And surely enough, this is THEIR business. It is strictly Rihanna’s and Chris’s business about their relationship. But sadly, there are nosy low lives out there that are always so curious about other people’s lives. I mean, no one else is harmed by their actions so why should people still bring it up when it happened FOUR YEARS AGO? Seriously, it is their business. How could they say that he is “still” just a woman beating asshole? He has clearly learned from his mistake and has never harmed anyone else. Why can’t people accept that he’s changing and becoming a successful man? Everyone just judges him based off of his bad mistakes. No one ever looks at how much he has done to the music industry.
Sigh, I’ll probably get bagged for defending Chris Brown. But hey, everyone has that one celebrity crush.
</end rant>
